Mississippi State’s recruiting efforts received a boost on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs picked up a commitment from 3-star offensive tackle Montravious Richardson out of Westover High School (Albany, Ga.)
The 6-foot-7, 300-pound lineman announced the news via Twitter.

Richardson, who reports three offers, committed to the Bulldogs over Georgia State.
He is rated as the nation’s No. 140-ranked offensive tackle and the state of Georgia’s No. 170 overall prospect, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Richardson becomes the 21st commitment of Mississippi State’s 2017 class, joining fellow 3-star offensive linemen Tommy Champion, Tyre Phillips, Paul Gainer and Cordavien Suggs.
