Mississippi State can’t go wrong on the recruiting trail this week.
The Bulldogs landed their second 2017 commitment in three days when junior college defensive tackle Lee Autry officially committed to Mississippi State on Wednesday morning, according to a report from Bulldawgs247’s Paul Jones.
Autry is the younger brother of former Mississippi State defensive end, Denico Autry. The Albemarle, N.C., native spent the past season playing at Itawamba Community College (Fulton, Miss.) where he recorded 21 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and one-half sack in 2015.
Autry originally committed to Wake Forest in May 2015. His commitment comes shortly after three-star wide receiver Monterio Hunt chose Mississippi State on Monday.
Autry’s pledge now gives the Bulldogs seven commitments for their 2017 class.
