Mississippi State must have done something right during Saturday’s spring game. The Bulldogs received three commitments on Saturday, including two from high school teammates.
Three-star offensive tackle Paul Gainer, three-star defensive end Aaron Odom and his Callaway High School (Jackson, Miss.) teammate, 2018 wide receiver Malik Heath, all pledged to Mississippi State on Saturday.

Odom is rated as the No. 9 player in Mississippi and the No. 24 defensive end in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports.com. Gainer, a Gautier, Miss., native, is rated as the No. 25 player in the state. Heath is currently rated as the No. 5 player in Mississippi, according to 247Sports.
Saturday’s splash puts the Bulldogs at 10 commitments for 2017 and three for 2018.
