Saturday was a big day for Mississippi State.
The Bulldogs held their annual Maroon and White Spring Game, and also received a commitment from three-star wide receiver Austin Williams.
“This has been a great process and I want to say thanks to God, my family, and all the other colleges that have given me the opportunity to play and recruit me. My home for the next four years is MISSISSIPPI STATE,” Williams tweeted Saturday afternoon.
The 6-foot-3, 202-pounder holds 13 reported offers, and committed to the Bulldogs over the likes of Air Force, Harvard, Georgia Southern and Louisiana Tech, among others.
Williams is rated as the No. 24 player in the state of Mississippi for the Class of 2017, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
