Mississippi State leaps four spots in latest SEC Country Power Rankings
Mississippi State’s 51-50 win against Arkansas on Saturday was just what the team needed after a demoralizing loss to Alabama last week and before the Egg Bowl this weekend.
The AP Top 25 rankings took note — allowing Mississippi State back into the party after kicking out the Bulldogs last week — and now, that performance has been reflected in the latest SEC Country Power Poll.
Mississippi State jumped back to No. 4 in the Power Poll after sitting at a lackluster No. 8 ranking last week. The Bulldogs were ranked No. 4 two weeks ago after beating Mizzou. But that was before MSU faced the Crimson Tide.
Saturday, Mississippi State hosts the No. 3 team in the SEC Country Power Poll — Ole Miss.
