Mississippi State thought it had one of the best players in the state in the 2019 class well within its grasp.
Not so fast. Safety Diwun Black de-committed from the Bulldogs program late Sunday night.

Black is ranked the No. 3 recruit in the state of Mississippi and the No. 6 athlete in the country according to 247Sports.
When he committed to MSU roughly five months ago, Black wasn’t nearly as highly ranked as he is now. Dan Mullen also left for Florida since Black committed.
He recently made two visits — one official and one unofficial — to Ole Miss in February, according to 247Sports. He also has an offer from Mullen’s new program at Florida.
