Mississippi State has added another defensive back to its 2017 recruiting class.
Landon Guidry, a three-star defensive back from Thompson’s Station, Tenn., committed to the Bulldogs on Monday.

Guidry chose Mississippi State over offers from Cincinnati, Southern Miss and Vanderbilt, among others. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder is rated as the state of Tennessee’s No. 33 prospect, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Guidry becomes the Bulldogs’ 15th commit of the 2017 class, joining three-star defensive backs Emanuel Dabney and Tyler Williams.
With his commitment, Mississippi State now holds the No. 9 recruiting class in the nation, according to 247Sports.
