Kylin Hill became Mississippi State’s highest-rated recruit in its 2017 class when he pledged to the Bulldogs.
The four-star running back from Columbus (Miss.) High School announced via Twitter on Wednesday that he will take his talents to Starkville next season.
“It was a tough decision, but with the help of a couple friends & peers I’ve finally decided to make my commitment,” Hill tweeted Wednesday. “Even though I will be committing to a team I will allow other teams, even the teams that’s already offered me to continue recruiting me, cause signing day is a long way from now and you never know what might happen. Without God in my life this moment wouldn’t be possible. I am verbally committed to the university of MISSISSIPPI STATE. GO BULLDOGS.”
The 5-foot-11, 207-pounder chose the Bulldogs over offers from Ole Miss, Missouri and Tennessee, among others. He becomes the 14th recruit in the Bulldogs’ 2017 class, and the third four-star prospect.
Hill is rated as the nation’s No. 14 running back and the state of Mississippi’s No. 4 overall player, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
