Welcome to More Cowbell, SEC Country’s daily podcast about Mississippi State sports with host Brandon Walker.
At long last, the new Dudy Noble Field has been unveiled. In front of a midweek crowd of more than 7,000 Tuesday night, Mississippi State opened its stadium in style with a win over New Mexico State.
We talk with Joel T. Coleman of the Starkville Daily News to get a firsthand account of the new stadium, from the highlights to the complaints, however sparse they might have been. We also talk about MSU’s baseball season and discuss John Cohen’s potential options as he searches for MSU’s next baseball coach.
Elsewhere, MSU basketball heads to St. Louis to try and make a run in the SEC Tournament. We discuss whether that’s possible.
