With signing day fast approaching, commitments aren’t the only recruiting news occurring. Some kids are decommitting, as well, in an attempt to find the best fit for themselves. One such player, unfortunately for Mississippi State, is Monterio Hunt, a long-time Bulldog commit until Sunday afternoon:

According to 247Sports, Hunt is a three-star wide receiver prospect from Walnut, Miss. It does not appear as though the Bulldogs will have a chance to re-earn his pledge before Signing Day. Hunt had been committed to Dan Mullen’s team since late March of 2016. He also holds offers from Memphis and South Alabama.
