Things are going much better for Dan Mullen and the Mississippi State Bulldogs right now than they are for State’s arch rivals in Oxford. For one, the Bulldogs aren’t dealing with a devastating scandal and resignation of their head coach. But Mississippi State recruiting is also just about as good as it’s ever been.
State’s 2018 recruiting class took another step forward on Friday night, as defensive tackle Devon Robinson made his pledge to play his college ball in Starkville:

Robinson is a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports, and currently stands 6’6, 260. That is a massive frame, and though Robinson is currently a bit light for an ideal tackle, the Mississippi State strength coaches will have plenty to work with. Robinson hails from the Memphis area, where he plays for Whitehaven.
