Mississippi State picked up a commitment from four-star JUCO safety Johnathan Abram.
On Wednesday, the player made the announcement on Twitter with a message that said in part, “I’m staying HOME!”
The native of Columbia, Miss., chose the Bulldogs over Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina and others. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder most recently played at Jones County Junior College, and 247Sports rated him as the No. 10 overall JUCO prospect.
I'm staying HOME! I decided to rep my state rather go away again! ?MSU
