The Mississippi State basketball student section went all-out for Tuesday night’s game against powerhouse Kentucky.
When Bulldogs students showed up to the Humphrey Coliseum in Starkville for the SEC game, this was waiting for them under every “Beat Kentucky” towel.

That’s some high-level preparation right there.
From the commitment to standing, the step-by-step newspaper directions, the motivating words about the section’s impact, and the plea to pick up your trash, it’s a true community effort in Starkville.
Where the students really show their aptitude is the individual scouting report, including a refusal to call Adebayo as “Bam,” and little-known connections (??) the Wildcats have to Katy Perry, Kyrie Irving and Dora the Explorer. Not to mention the obscure fact about Isaac Humphries.
We’ll see how much impact the students sleuthing has on the final result.
