Keytaon Thompson is heading to Mississippi State.
The class of 2017 quarterback pledged to the Bulldogs Wednesday afternoon, Landry-Walker (La.) coach Emmanuel Powell told SEC Country.
Thompson chose Mississippi State over LSU, Tennessee, Florida and Miami.
The 4-star prospect is the No. 8 ranked quarterback in the nation and No. 10 player in Louisiana’s 2017 recruiting class.
In October, Thompson told SEC Country he was interested in Mississippi State because of how he fit in the offense.
“Dak Prescott — he’s a great player and a dual-threat,” Thompson said. “He can do it all. I think Mississippi State’s offense puts him in a great position to make plays.”
