On Saturday morning, Mississippi State fans awoke to graffiti on Davis Wade Stadium.
Someone, likely an Ole Miss fan based on what was written, spray-painted numerous words on the football stadium. Dan Mullen and his team beat Ole Miss 55-20 last month, with the win sending the Bulldogs to a bowl game and preventing the Rebels from reaching one.
Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork replied to a tweet when asked about what he had to say on the matter.
“It’s unacceptable on every level,” Bjork tweeted. “(I) hope they catch whoever did it. Not sure we could be more clear.”

Per the Clarion-Ledger’s Michael Bonner, Mississippi State Athletic Director John Cohen had no comment on the matter.
Mississippi State’s bowl game takes place on Dec. 26. The Bulldogs will take on Miami of Ohio in the St. Petersburg Bowl. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET.
There are cameras all around the stadium. Those will obviously be looked at. pic.twitter.com/voIbbrfhW9
