Former Mississippi State defensive lineman Quay Evans was once one of the most talented players to ever commit to Dan Mullen and the Bulldogs. But the former Bulldog has gotten in trouble with the law multiple times.
And now, at just 24, Evans has been arrested once again and charged with murder, attempted murder and aggravated assault per WLBT in Mississippi.
Evans and his older brother Samuel have both been charged in connection to a shooting in Morton, Miss., that left one man dead and sent another to the hospital on Saturday night.
In July of 2015, Evans was arrested for firing a gun as a fight broke at out an apartment complex in Starkville.
Evans spent two seasons at Mississippi State after being rated as a 4-star recruit in the 2012 class and the No. 3 player in the state of Mississippi. He appeared in 15 games and had just 10 tackles before transferring to West Georgia. He never played after transferring.
