A Mississippi State receiver has reportedly been arrested a little less than two weeks before the school’s bowl game.
According to Logan Lowery of The Daily Journal, true freshman Austin Williams was booked early Sunday for public drunkenness. Details of the arrest are still on the way.

Williams, a 3-star in-state prospect in the Class of 2017 out of Ocean Springs, Miss., hasn’t recorded any stats so far this season.
As Will Sammon of The Clarion-Ledger reported, there hasn’t been a comment yet from new coach Joe Moorhead or the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office on Williams’ arrest.
Mississippi State (8-4) is scheduled to play Louisville in the TaxSlayer Bowl on Dec. 30.
