Mississippi State lost some secondary depth on Saturday as rising sophomore cornerback Chris Stamps has decided to transfer, according to multiple reports.
Hearing from multiple sources that Mississippi State CB Chris Stamps is transferring to NW Mississippi Community College.

A native of Vicksburg, Miss., Stamps arrived in Starkville in 2015, when he redshirted. In 2016, as a redshirt freshman, he played sparingly in nine games on Dan Mullen’s defense, recording 2 tackles.
The 6-foot, 182-pound defensive back reportedly is seeking more playing time, and as a result of transferring to Northwest Mississippi Community College, he will be eligible to play immediately.
