For many college football players, spring practice is just beginning. But for one Mississippi State wide receiver, it is already over.
Senior Fred Ross will miss the rest of spring practice after getting surgery to heal an injured groin, according to InsideMSUSports.com’s Logan Lowery.
The senior caught 88 passes for 1,007 yards and five touchdowns last season. Ross also served as the punt returner on special teams.
Ross has yet to miss a game in his first three seasons with the Bulldogs.
