It is unfortunate the Oscars were a few weeks ago because we would have had the front-runner for best performance by an Actor in a Leading Role from Missouri’s win over Mississippi State on Saturday.
With the Tigers up 87-85 in overtime, Bulldogs guard Lamar Peters drove down the court and seemingly made a go-ahead 3-pointer, but the officials already had whistled an offensive foul on a flop by the Tigers’ Jordan Geist even Duke’s Grayson Allen would be embarrassed by.

As you can see with this angle, Peters was not even close to touching Geist.

Yeah, that is pretty bad and could put a major dent in any hopes for the Bulldogs to make the NCAA Tournament.
Mississippi State had to make an incredible comeback to even put the game into overtime, as the Bulldogs overcame a 12-point deficit in the last 1:39.
After the game, Geist was playing coy about the call.
Jordan Geist, with a big smile, on selling the late charge on Peters: "I didn't sell it all. He pushed off."

Bulldogs fans were not happy with the call that resulted in the loss.
Hate to see Miss St. lose like that. They beat Missouri everywhere but on the scoreboard.

Missouri’s got the flop down pat! Horrible call on Lamar to give Missouri the win.

That's a call that deserves punishment.

Number 15 for Missouri went to flop school this past week and it obviously paid off
