Everything is going great for the Mississippi State baseball program.
The Bulldogs are one win away from the College World Series championship series, and their fans have fully embraced their banana-wielding underdogs who have gone from an SEC afterthought to defeating the majority of the national seeds in the NCAA Baseball Tournament.
As a result, Mississippi State fans are doing whatever they can to venture to Omaha, Neb., to watch their team attempt to make history. And this State fan named Terry gave an epic interview to Omaha Sports Insider about his journey to Omaha and what it took to get there.
Below you can find the highlights of Terry’s interview, including his own banana connections as well as the lengths he went to to make it to Omaha.

It seems as if Terry’s antics may be an inside joke among Bulldogs fans, given that last time Mississippi State played in the College World Series in 2013, a comment on the ESPN broadcast about some fans not being able to afford the trip did not sit well.
Getting these jokes off five years in the making? Never change, Mississippi State fans. Never change.
The Bulldogs return to the diamond in Omaha on Friday against an opponent to be determined, with first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. ET. However, as rain continues to delay action, that schedule could change.
