Happy Thursday, Ole Miss fans.
It was another day on the recruiting trail for the Rebels coaching staff, and we’re just one day away from top prospects around the country rolling into Oxford, Miss., for their official visit weekend. There should be plenty of drama along the way.
Here are two things to know:
- Speaking of recruiting, one prospect who said he will spend the weekend at Ole Miss is a talented four-star wide receiver.
- On the scheduling front, Ole Miss is in the process of locking up non-conference matchups against Power Five schools for the coming years, and the Rebels look like they are close to finalizing a deal with a Big 12 opponent.
Other Ole Miss news from around the Internet
- Alabama is pulling out all the stops to try lure away a coveted Ole Miss commit. The prized four-star running back visits the Crimson Tide officially this weekend, but he will visit the Rebels on Jan. 29 right before National Signing Day.
- Ole Miss is in the running for many of the nation’s top prospects, and Rivals.com Mike Farrell joined the “RebelGrove.com Podcast” on Rebel Sports Radio Wednesday to give his thoughts on where Ole Miss stands.
