Ole Miss will get another chance to impress a highly-rated quarterback from California this week.
Four-star prospect Tristan Gebbia out of Calabasas High School (Calabasas, Calif.) will visit Ole Miss Friday after Tuesday’s visit to Nebraska, which is one of the schools considered to be in final contention for his commitment.
Both of Gebbia’s parents attended Ole Miss and his father, Rich, played tight end for the Rebels.
One thing working against Ole Miss is that Keyshawn Johnson Jr., the son of former NFL star receiver Keyshawn Johnson, committed to Nebraska last week and is good friends with Gebbia. A final decision could come in the upcoming weeks after he concludes his visits.
Gebbia is the No. 8 pro-style quarterback in the country, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
