Breon Dixon, a 4-star inside linebacker committed to Ole Miss, has already stoked the fires of the Egg Bowl before he even arrives on campus.
Dixon committed to Ole Miss on Jan. 1 but before that, he was being recruited by a bevy of teams including Louisville and, consequently, new Mississippi State offensive coordinator Todd Grantham.
Dixon took to Twitter Wednesday to bash Grantham, indicating in a since-deleted tweet that Grantham indicated to him that he’d be at Louisville for “at least 3 more years.” In a separate tweet, Dixon bashed the college football landscape that’s critical of players who de-commit but not of coaches who lie and freely move from job to job.
Dixon is the No. 11 inside linebacker in the country and is Ole Miss’ second-highest rated recruit in its 45th-ranked class of 2017.
