QB Chad Kelly ties Ole Miss single-season record
Chad Kelly has only been the starting quarterback at Ole Miss for six games, but he has already tied a single-season record.
With 310 yards in the first half against New Mexico State, Kelly went over 300 yards for the fourth time this season, tying a school record for most 300-yard games in a season.
Eli Manning and Bo Wallace are the only other quarterbacks in Ole Miss history to go over 300 yards passing in four different games during a season.
Kelly will have six more regular season games and a possible Bowl game to break the record. Kelly could also possibly break the single-game passing record at Ole Miss. Archie Manning holds that record, which is the oldest single-game record in the SEC, at 436 yards.
Chad Kelly has four 300-yard passing games this season which ties the single season record held by Eli Manning and Bo Wallace. #HottyToddy
