Latest updates on Ole Miss recruiting
3-star DT Allen Love de-commits from Ole Miss
Ole Miss’ 2018 recruiting class took a hit on Monday night.
Three-star defensive tackle Allen Love announced on Twitter that he is de-committing from the Rebels. He had been committed to them since June 8.
Love thanked Ole Miss fans for their support but said he needed to “make a decision that’s best for me.”

Love recently took visits to Louisville and Indiana, so those are two potential destinations for him.
Listed at 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds, Love is the No. 54 defensive tackle recruit in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He played for Huffman High School in Birmingham, Ala.
Ole Miss de-commits don’t come as much of a surprise as the Rebels have a long list of sanctions from the NCAA, which includes a bowl ban for the next two years.
Ole Miss scores commitment from 3-star, in-state safety Cameron White
Though the weather was snowy at various SEC locales Friday, Matt Luke and the Ole Miss Rebels picked up a nice piece for their 2018 recruiting class.
Cameron White, a 3-star safety from Madison Central High School in Madison, Miss., committed to Ole Miss on Friday afternoon. Here’s how he did it on his Twitter account, giving special thanks to his mother:

White plays safety but is also listed as an athlete on some services. He stands 6 feet 1 inch and weighs 185 pounds.
According to 247Sports, White also had offers from Alabama and Arkansas. The Rebels now have 12 commits in their class of 2018.
Matt Luke is having to do his best to keep this class together as well as keep hold of the players already on campus with all of the NCAA sanctions that the program faces.
White’s commitment certainly helps in that regard.
