Robert Nkemdiche, the Ole Miss star turned first-round draft pick of the Arizona Cardinals, hasn’t seen the field a whole lot since becoming a pro.
The NFL rookie missed much of training camp with an ankle injury and was not active for the Cards’ most recent game, according to arizonasports.com, because of the same injury. But judging by his coach’s latest comments, Nkemdiche might not have played even if he was healthy.
Based on @SiriusXMNFL comments from Bruce Arians, looks like DE Robert Nkemdiche will be inactive until improving his play in practice

That’s not a great look for defensive lineman, who fell from likely top-10 selection down to 30th overall amid concerns about his character and consistency. Arizona is one of the better teams in the league and particularly deep on the defensive line, so unless Nkemdiche really kicks it into gear, football fans may not see him much in 2016.
