Robert Nkemdiche’s NFL career has not gotten off to a great start.
According to Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians, Nkemdiche has suffered an ankle injury and will be out about two weeks.
Nkemdiche suffered the injury at training camp while only rookies and quarterbacks were practicing.
Nkemdiche was the No. 29 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft after a stellar yet tumultuous career at Ole Miss. On the field, Nkemdiche was great as he amassed 98 tackles and 7.0 sacks in his three years in Oxford. But he also had some off-the-field incidents as well. Most notably, Nkemdiche fell out of window in January.
The character concerns are part of the reason Nkemdiche fell in the draft in the first place.
