Hugh Freeze, the only coach to beat Nick Saban over the past two seasons, will be providing commentary during Alabama’s playoff game with Washington.
ESPN announced the Ole Miss head coach will be a guest analyst on Finebaum Film Room on the SEC Network during ESPN’s multicast of the Peach Bowl on Dec. 31. He’ll also appear on SEC Nation that day.
Alabama’s last loss and two of the Crimson Tide’s last three came against Freeze and the Rebels. Ole Miss beat the Tide 43-37 in 2015. The Rebels also won 23-17 in 2014.
Since the 2015 loss, Alabama has won 25 straight games.
From the ESPN release:
Paul Finebaum along with analysts Booger McFarland, Jordan Rodgers and guest analyst Ole Miss Coach Hugh Freeze are providing an additional SEC-centric view of the No.4 Washington vs. No. 1 Alabama semifinal game, taking calls and providing instant analysis of the game on SEC Network. The Finebaum Film Room is one of six presentations in ESPN’s MultiCast.
