Hey, we’ve seen this before.
Ole Miss fans have been a tortured bunch early this season. The Rebels could have entered Saturday with a 3-0 record and as one of the country’s best programs. Instead, they squandered two huge leads against Florida State and Alabama to fall to 1-2 before Ole Miss hosted Georgia.
Fortunately for the Rebels, the Bulldogs aren’t the Seminoles or the Crimson Tide.
Ole Miss jumped all over Georgia in the first half on their way to a 31-0 halftime lead during an absolute paddle job at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The Rebels never let up, which was a welcome change of pace for Ole Miss fans who went through panic attacks in the losses to Florida State and Alabama.
Twitter had fun with the happenings in Oxford, Miss. Here’s a sampling of the reaction:
To the people telling us Ole Miss fans that's we can breath and relax on the lead…. pic.twitter.com/h9TE22y5FX

If you're #OleMiss, a 31 point halftime lead at home against a freshman QB HAS to feel secure, right? (Silence ensues from Ole Miss fans…)
