The wait is over, Ole Miss fans. Five-star offensive tackle Greg Little has officially signed with the Rebels, the school announced Wednesday.
Little is the No. 1 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 3 player overall. The 6-foot-5, 305 pounder committed to Ole Miss over Alabama and Texas A&M on Dec. 16.
An Allen, Texas, native, Little is arguably the most important recruit for Ole Miss in this class with the loss of Laremy Tunsil and Fahn Cooper at both starting tackle spots. Little will undoubtedly have plenty of opportunities to get on the field early in his career with the Rebels.
He will have tough shoes to fill, but he hopes to solidify the left side of Ole Miss’ offensive line for the next three years and follow in Tunsil’s footsteps to the NFL.
Little officially visited Oxford, Miss., last weekend, which only solidified his commitment to the Rebels.
No one is happier to see Little’s name on the signing day list than the nation’s No. 1 quarterback Shea Patterson, who also signed with the Rebels on Wednesday. Patterson enrolled at Ole Miss in January.
Little is the second top-ranked offensive tackle to sign with the Rebels since 2013.
