Jamar Richardson signed with 2 schools on Wednesday: Ole Miss and Jones County Junior College.
Richardson, a 3-star cornerback from Aliceville, Ala., committed to the Rebels last summer. But a low ACT score might prevent him from enrolling at the University of Mississippi this year.
Richardson told Scout.com‘s Ben Garrett he will re-take the standardized test twice before the end of April in an effort to become eligible. He also said his January trip to Oxford was “a life-changing experience.”
If he’s able to play for Mississippi this year, Richardon will join fellow true freshman cornerback D.D. Bowie, a 4-star from Morton, Miss.; and 3-star JUCO transfer Javien Hamilton as first-year Rebels.
