Ole Miss fans may have been holding out hope that All-SEC left tackle Laremy Tunsil would be available for tonight’s mammoth matchup with Alabama in Bryant-Denny Stadium, but it turns out his season debut is on hold for at least another week.
Tunsil did not travel with the Rebels to Tuscaloosa, according to Bleacher Report’s Christopher Walsh.
Earlier in the week, word surfaced that Tunsil could miss an extended period of time while the NCAA investigates a claim that the standout lineman accepted improper benefits that violate the game’s amateur rules, according to ESPN’s Chris Low.
Sean Rawlings and Fahn Cooper project as the Rebels’ starting offensive tackles against the Crimson Tide.
Ole Miss on the field now as well. Looks like no Laremy Tunsil.
