So it seems that Bret Michaels, the famous front man for the band Poison and Celebrity Apprentice winner, is now an Ole Miss fan.
Michaels posted a Facebook message saying as much after his daughter’s boyfriend signed with the Rebels. In the Facebook post, Michaels alludes to the fact that the boyfriend in question is a quarterback named Matt. So it’s safe to assume that he’s referring to quarterback Matt Corral, who is the Rebels’ highest-rated signee.
But the connection to Michaels doesn’t stop there, as Ole Miss offensive coordinator Phil Longo tweeted out a picture of himself rocking a similar bandanna to what Michaels wears when he performs.
POISON's legendary BRET MICHAELS joins REBEL NATION, a fan base like no other!!! Rebels Rock in '18! @BretMichaels #OleMissFootball #NothinButAGoodTime #RebelNation #HottyToddy #DontBlink pic.twitter.com/WspxyUXYhN

Michaels is just the latest famed musician to join Rebel Nation, as no one should forget the time Katy Perry was a guest picker on College GameDay.
The Rebels signed the nation’s No. 31 class, which is fairly impressive given the class was in the 80s at one point during the recruiting cycle. In addition to the 4-star QB Corral, the Rebels also landed 4-star signees in wide receiver Elijah Moore and wide receiver Miles Battle. Compared to the rest of the SEC, Ole Miss has the No. 10 class in the conference.
The Rebels begin the 2018 season on Sept. 1, when they take on Texas Tech in Houston.
