It looks as if the Rebels will be without a top defensive player for the rest of the season.
After suffering a gruesome leg injury against Florida State on Monday, Webster announced that he would miss the rest of the season.
“I would like to thank every single last person for getting out to me. I am out for the season. Things happened for a reason and the man above got a great for me. I have an entire year to get bigger, faster and strong. At one point of time tonight I was ready to call quits. All the love everyone showed and prayer I am focused on the comeback and ecouraging my brothers to finish this season well,” Webster shared on Twitter.
Webster did not detail the actual injury, but the junior defensive back left Monday’s game in the first quarter after landing awkwardly on his left leg.
