This is a tough break for Ole Miss defensive back Ken Webster.
Early in the first quarter of the Rebels’ opener against Florida State on Monday, Webster fell awkwardly on his left leg and collapsed to the turf while defending a long pass. He was carted off the field and looked to be in major pain.
This could be a big blow to Ole Miss’ secondary. Webster started all 13 games at cornerback for the Rebels in 2015, and was tied for third on the team and eighth among SEC players with 12 passes defended.
