The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Standifer is a Tupelo, Miss., native and had been seen as a lean toward the Rebels.
“I have been thinking about committing to Ole Miss for a couple of weeks now and I just feel now is the right time,” Standifer told Rivals.com’s Chad Simmons. “I just felt there was no reason to wait any longer. I knew were I wanted to go, so I committed.”
It’s early in the 2019 cycle, but Standifer is currently seen as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports composite and has offers from programs such as Memphis, Arkansas State and Louisiana Tech.
Standifer will join teammate and 2019 WR Jordan Jernigan in Oxford.
