Following the news that the NCAA is expanding its investigation into the Ole Miss football program, head coach Hugh Freeze said he feels “just kind of numb” to the whole ordeal, according to the Ole Miss Spirit’s Ben Garrett.
The NCAA has reportedly begun interviewing players at other schools about whether the Rebels offered those players money to come play at Ole Miss. Freeze said that kind of news “has become the norm.”

Freeze said he didn’t know about the interviews with players at other schools, and that he didn’t know if it was true.
The NCAA has been investigating Ole Miss for more than three years. That investigation ramped up in the spring when former Rebels LT Laremy Tunsil admitted to receiving payment from coaches when he was in college.
