Ole Miss will offer a peek behind the curtain.
On Sunday, the Rebels’ Twitter account posted an open invitation for students to watch football practice starting at 4:15 p.m. local time Tuesday. You have to admit that this is a cool move. More SEC programs should copy the idea. And who knows? Perhaps some of the masses on campus will rekindle interest in Ole Miss after the Rebels’ recent slide.
Ole Miss lost to Auburn on Saturday, which marked the Rebels’ third consecutive defeat. At 3-5 overall and 1-4 in the SEC, Ole Miss likely is far from where players and coaches thought they would be heading into November.

Georgia Southern should serve as a needed pick-me-up for the Rebels next Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. After that game, Ole Miss closes the regular season with Texas A&M, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State.
