Ole Miss jumps to No. 19 in the AP Poll
Following a dominating 38-17 win over LSU on Saturday, Ole Miss (8-3, 5-2 SEC) jumped to No. 19 when the Associated Press released its Top 25 on Sunday.
The Rebels have fluctuated a lot in the polls, reaching as high as No. 3 after a win against Alabama on Sept. 19 and falling out completely after an overtime loss to Arkansas on Nov. 7.
Ole Miss has a chance to continue climbing in the rankings if it can beat Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl.
The Rebels can still win the SEC West if they defeat the Bulldogs and Auburn upsets Alabama in the Iron Bowl. Regardless of the Crimson Tide’s result, a win over Mississippi State would put Ole Miss in a position for a Sugar Bowl berth.
Here is the complete poll:
4 Notre Dame
6 Michigan State
8 Ohio State
9 Oklahoma State
11 North Carolina
14 Florida State
