Ole Miss opens as a favorite against Oklahoma State in the Sugar Bowl
Ole Miss will play in its first Sugar Bowl since the 1969 season, and will do so as the big favorite.
The No. 12 Rebels (9-3, 6-2 SEC) opened as a 7-point favorite over No. 16 Oklahoma State (10-2, 7-2 Big 12), according to VegasInsider.com.
Ole Miss is coming off a great end to the regular season that saw it get two big wins against LSU and Mississippi State. The Cowboys enter the bowl game coming off two straight losses after winning their first 10 games.
The Rebels will face Oklahoma State in New Orleans on Jan. 1 at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
