Hugh Freeze’s staff scored a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Lavante Epson on Wednesday night.
The 6-foot-3, 315-pound guard from Greenville, Mississippi, is a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports.com. He chose the Rebels over Mississippi State, Alabama and several other interested programs.
Epson is ranked as the state’s No. 15 player and the country’s No. 29 guard. He is the seventh commit in Ole Miss’ Class of 2017, and the second offensive lineman (after three-star tackle Ben Brown from Vicksburg).
