Ole Miss receiver unimpressed with Chad Kelly’s rap song
What takes up Chad Kelly’s time when he’s not quarterbacking Ole Miss to victories? Rapping, of course.
You can listen to Kelly’s surprisingly well-produced rap below, or you can save yourself the time and listen to Rebels receiver Quincy Adeboyejo break down Kelly’s musical abilities.
On Monday, Adeboyejo appeared as a guest on the SEC Network’s SEC Now program and was asked if he’d heard Kelly’s rap.
Adeboyejo has given the song a listen and is none too impressed.
“I was like, bro, why did you do that?,” he said. “The lyrics (were) alright, but I was like, I don’t know about that one, Chad.”
Kelly, who is the nephew of Buffalo Bills great Jim Kelly, is averaging 299.3 passing yards through three games with nine touchdowns to one interception. Adeboyejo has caught a team-high five of those touchdowns to go with 224 receiving yards.
The Rebels are 3-0 and ranked No. 3.
