Ole Miss tight end Evan Engram was one of eight players added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List. The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, the creator and sponsor of the award, announced the additions on Tuesday.
The award is given to college football’s most outstanding receiver, but players don’t have to be a wide receiver to be consider. That’s the case for Engram, who is second in the SEC in receiving yards with 397 from his tight end position.
He trails only Missouri receiver J’Mon Moore, who was also added to the watch list on Tuesday. Moore has 434 yards this year.
The award will be given out on Dec. 8 on at the College Football Awards Show
