Don’t believe in superstitions? Well, the Ole Miss football team does.
The Rebels will don their old powder blue helmets against Alabama on Saturday, which are the same ones players wore when they last beat the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa in 1988, according to John Talty of AL.com.
After 20 years of retirement, Ole Miss broke out the powder blues against Memphis last season. The Rebels beat the Tigers 24-3 in that game and are hoping for similar results vs. the Crimson Tide.
