In one sense, Ole Miss fans shouldn’t be surprised to see their Rebels practicing with loudspeakers on the field this week. After all, coach Hugh Freeze did have some pretty sweet dance moves after the victory over Alabama.
But it’s unlikely Freeze was doing any dancing on the field this week with a road game coming up at Florida. Ole Miss used large speakers to prepare for the crowd noise at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla.
The speakers at practice Tuesday blasted at 102 decibels, which compares to the volume of a rock concert.
