Ole Miss should get plenty of exposure during the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, and wide receiver Laquon Treadwell will likely be a big reason why.
The talented junior is “leaning toward entering the NFL draft,” according to Rand Getlin of the NFL Network.
That should come as no surprise, as Treadwell is projected to be a high first-round draft pick. Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil and defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche are also anticipated to leave school early and declare for the draft following the season. Both are projected as high first-round picks.
In fact, Yahoo Sports’ Eric Edholm has the three Rebels’ prospects all going in the top five overall in his latest mock draft.
Treadwell’s stock has soared after coming off a devastating leg injury he suffered against Auburn last season. The Crete, Ill., native has 76 receptions for 1,082 yards and eight touchdowns this season.
