The Nkemdiche brothers continue to be the subjects of alarming news this week.
Just a week removed from Ole Miss junior defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche falling from a hotel window and being charged with possession of marijuana, his older brother also found himself in the headlines.
Denzel Nkemdiche was rushed to the hospital on Monday in Mississippi, according to WAPT.com.
Ole Miss officials did not indicate which Nkemdiche brother was hospitalized, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported it was Denzel.
Denzel Nkemdiche, the older brother of Robert, is reportedly no longer a member of the Ole Miss football team. He is under his father’s supervision and was hospitalized last month, too, but no reason was provided.
This weekend, Ole Miss suspended Robert Nkemdiche brother for the Sugar Bowl against Oklahoma State. Soon after, he released a statement declaring for the 2016 NFL Draft, ending his career with the Rebels.
Robert Nkemdiche is projected to be a top-five pick in the NFL Draft, but must now explain to prospective pro teams how he and his brother have gotten into all of these off-the-field issues.
