Former Ole Miss receiver Cody Core could be wearing the silver and black in the NFL next season.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound wideout met with the Oakland Raiders on Wednesday, according to Draftinsider.net’s Tony Pauline.
Core reeled in 37 passes for 644 yards and four touchdowns for the Rebels last season. He was primarily the second option in the passing game behind star wideout Laquon Treadwell. Core does have NFL talent, though. He is rated as the No. 24 receiver in his class and is projected as a fifth-round pick by CBSSports.com.
