Report: Houston Nutt’s attorney adds 2 to team to help with records collection
The team for Houston Nutt’s attorney reportedly is growing.
As reported by Scout.com’s Steve Robertson on Wednesday, Thomas Mars is adding a First Amendment and Freedom of Information Act expert to his group as he continues to pursue information related to Ole Miss and former Rebels coach Hugh Freeze.
Check out the tweet from Robertson below.
According to Houston Hutt's attorney Tom Mars, 1st amendment and FOI expert Ted Boutrous has joined the team to assist in record collection

This is the latest example of Mars’ aggressive pursuit of Ole Miss. Earlier, it was reported that he was seeking phone and email records from Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork. There also were reports of Mars seeking information related to a burner phone that appeared “multiple times” in Freeze’s records.
It will be interesting to see what comes of this latest development. The fact that Mars is adding two people with those specialties suggests he’s doing everything he can to pursue records collection in the most driven way.
This story seems far from over, and that’s bad for Ole Miss.
